New Public RNG Station Opens in Texas

GAIN Clean Fuel and IFS open new Renewable Natural Gas fuelling station in Dallas.

In partnership with Independence Fuel Systems (IFS), GAIN Clean Fuel announced the opening of a new public natural gas fuelling station in Dallas that will dispense premium, renewable natural gas (RNG).

The station is located along Interstate 20, between Interstate 35 East and Interstate 45 at 8181 South Lancaster Road in Dallas. According to the company, the Dallas location was designed to accommodate Class 8 vehicles and constructed to provide fast-fill capabilities, delivering reduced fuel times.

“This station will allow leading companies to reduce their transportation-related emissions, satisfying greenhouse gas targets and improving air quality for communities in the greater Dallas area,” said Mike Koel, GAIN Clean Fuel president, in a statement. “We’re committed to providing the best level of service at all of our stations, indicated by our unrivaled 99.7 percent site uptime.”

“IFS has been a great partner, instrumental in the expansion of our natural gas fuelling network throughout Texas,” adds Koel. “We look forward to supplying this station and all other IFS locations with RNG from one of the many development projects we have online.”

“This is an exciting opportunity for us to further our mission of helping build America’s energy independence by providing high-quality CNG stations,” said Kevin Russell, CEO at IFS, in a statement. “We’re proud to have FastFlow CNG serve this region.”
